The Committee on Government Organization moves to amend the bill on page seven, section six, line ninety-seven, by striking out the words “to pay reasonable compensation to a member of the council”; and

On page seven, section six, line ninety-nine, by striking out the words “for each day the member is engaged in performing council duties” and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“to pay compensation to the member for attending official meetings or engaging in official duties not to exceed the amount paid to members of the Legislature for their interim duties as recommended by the Citizens Legislative Compensation Commission and authorized by law.”
